These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Audi Parts SA website at https://audiparts.co.za and any purchases made through our services. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. About Us
Audi Parts SA is an independent dealer specialising in used and second-hand Audi vehicle parts and spares. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Audi AG, Volkswagen AG, Audi South Africa (Pty) Ltd, or any official Audi dealership. See our full Disclaimer for more information.
2. Products & Services
Audi Parts SA supplies used and second-hand Audi vehicle parts, including:
- Engines and gearboxes
- Body panels and exterior parts
- Interior components and trim
- Electrical and mechanical parts
- Accessories and ancillary components
All parts are sourced from salvaged donor vehicles unless otherwise stated. Parts are not new OEM parts from Audi AG or authorised distributors unless explicitly indicated.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, Credit Card, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
- Full payment is required before dispatch of goods
- Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
4. Orders & Availability
Due to the nature of used parts, all items are subject to availability. Submitting a quote request does not constitute a binding purchase agreement. An order is confirmed only when we have verified availability, agreed on pricing, and received payment.
We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion and will issue a full refund for any payment already made in such cases.
5. Warranty
5.1 Limited Warranty for Used Parts
In compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (Act 68 of 2008), Section 56, all used parts purchased from Audi Parts SA carry a 3-month limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering:
- Defects in materials or workmanship present at the time of sale
- Parts that fail to perform their intended function under normal use
5.2 Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper or unqualified installation
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, or negligence
- Modifications made to parts after purchase
- Cosmetic defects that were disclosed at the time of sale
- Electrical parts damaged by incorrect voltage or wiring
- Parts used in a manner other than intended
5.3 "As-Is" Sales
Certain parts may be sold on an "as-is" or "voetstoots" basis where clearly indicated. This applies only to parts with disclosed defects sold for salvage or rebuild purposes.
Important: Under South African law, we are obligated to disclose all known defects. We cannot and will not conceal known faults from buyers.
5.4 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact us within 3 months of the purchase date
- Provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
- Describe the defect in detail with photographs if possible
- Return the part for inspection if requested
If a valid warranty claim is established, we will at our discretion: replace the part with an equivalent used part, refund the purchase price, or provide credit toward another purchase.
6. Returns & Refunds
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase
- Parts must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as received
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned part
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply
- Electrical parts, cut-to-size parts, and special orders are non-returnable
7. Delivery & Shipping
- We offer nationwide delivery across all 9 provinces of South Africa
- Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed
- Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery
- Customers must inspect parts upon receipt and report any shipping damage within 48 hours
- Delivery charges are quoted separately and depend on the size, weight, and destination
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Verify part compatibility with your vehicle before purchase
- Provide accurate vehicle information (model, year, VIN where applicable)
- Arrange for professional installation by qualified technicians
- Inspect parts upon receipt and report any issues within 48 hours
We strongly recommend professional installation. Warranty claims may be denied if damage results from installation by unqualified persons.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:
- Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the defective part
- We are not liable for installation or removal costs
- We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, including loss of income, vehicle downtime, towing costs, or rental vehicle expenses
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for:
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Audi Parts SA or its licensors and is protected by South African and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
All third-party trademarks referenced on this website (including "Audi" and Audi model names) are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. See our Disclaimer.
